‘How to survive prolonged unemployment’ = my first guest post

May 11, 2010

Some of you may not know this, but after graduating college, I spent six months unemployed, at certain points applying to jobs I probably would have come to regret (to those who have heard my “applied to a job in rural Mississippi” line—it’s real).

I thought it might be helpful to try to pull some lessons from that stint into a post for journalism students who are looking at graduation in the next couple months and feeling scared. Meagan Evertson, a marketing student, was looking for someone to guest post on her blog and since I’d never done it before, I thought I’d try it out. Head over to her site to check out my tips on How to Survive Prolonged Unemployment.
